Ich finde es faszinierend, dass man etwas fast unwillkürlich, automatisch (also fast ohne es zu wollen) sagt, wenn man sich ekelt – und was man sagt, hängt davon ab, welche Muttersprache man hat! Als Deutscher sage ich fast automatisch „pfui“ oder „igitt“, wenn ich mich ekele.I find it fascinating that you say something almost involuntarily, automatically (i.e. almost without wanting to) when you are disgusted – and what you say depends on which mother tongue you have! As a German, I almost automatically say “pfui” or “igitt” when I am disgusted.

Ein Brite oder Amerikaner würde „yikes“, „yuck“, „ugh“ oder „ew“ sagen, ein Franzose “beurk“; auf Spanisch sagt man “puaj“ oder “guácala“ in Lateinamerika, “eca“ auf Portugiesisch, “фу“ auf Russisch und so weiter und so weiter.A British person or American would say “yikes”, “yuck”, “ugh” or say “ew”, a Frenchman “beurk”; in Spanish people say “puaj” or “guácala” in Latin America, “eca” in Portuguese,“фу” in Russian and so on and so on.

Das gleiche mit „aua“! Wenn ich mir weh tue, sage ich „aua“. Wenn ich mir zum Beispiel den Fuß stoße, dann habe ich Schmerzen und rufe „aua!“The same with “aua”! If I hurt myself, I say “aua”. For example, if I bang my foot, then I am in pain and cry “aua!”

Aber im englischen Sprachraum sagt man „ouch“, ein Franzose sagt „aie“ und so weiter.But in the English language to say “ouch”, a Frenchman says “aie” and so on.

Huhu kenne ich hauptsächlich als Zuruf. Wenn ich mich mit Freunden treffe und sie sehen mich nicht, dann rufe ich: „Huhu, hier bin ich! Huhu, hier drüben!“I know huhu mainly as a hail. When I meet with friends and they do not see me, I call: “Huhu, here I am! Huhu, over here!”
